Inside Cosy Hauz: March–April 2025 Highlights | Powerful Insights, Industry Connections & Inspiring Site Visits

By May 2, 2025No Comments

At Cosy Hauz, we’re not just building homes. We’re continuously growing our expertise, fostering meaningful connections, and gaining insights through site visits to shape the future of UK property development. Here’s a look at some of our key highlights from March to April 2025, spotlighting our CEO, exciting collaborations, and impactful networking events.

CEO Xuan Meng in the Property Media Spotlight

We are proud to have our CEO Xuan Meng featured across leading property platforms, offering an inside look at her journey and the Cosy Hauz story. She recently appeared on fellow developer Paresh’s YouTube channel – @OfficiallyParesh. She walked viewers through one of our latest residential developments in South West London. The video provides a behind-the-scenes perspective into how we approach planning, design, and execution—watch the full feature here.

Additionally, Xuan joined Omer Mehmet on the OMZ Property Podcast to discuss the realities of building a successful property business. From overcoming challenges to developing scalable strategies, she shared valuable insights into what it takes to lead a thriving property development company like Cosy Hauz. You can listen to the full episode here.

We extend our thanks to Paresh and Omer for the opportunity to share our journey in the property industry.

Learning from Industry Peers: Site Visits and Insights Sharing

Continuous learning is at the core of Cosy Hauz. This spring, we visited a number of exciting property development sites to exchange ideas and gather inspiration. A standout visit was to the developments of our CEO Xuan’s friend, Manpreet. We explored HMO conversions and commercial-to-residential projects. These visits provided deep insights into the technical and strategic aspects of HMO developments—a sector we’re keen to expand into.

We also had the privilege of being invited by property expert Paul Higgs to Birch Grove. This property is a Net Zero housing development by Millbank Homes in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. These homes are a stunning example of biophilic design and sustainability in action. Touring the site and discussing Paul’s development journey and strategies, including Direct-to-Vendor approaches, was a powerful learning opportunity for our team.

These behind-the-scenes experiences allow us to elevate our own development process while staying ahead of industry trends.

Building Relationships: Events, Networking & Growth

March and April also brought valuable networking opportunities that strengthened our presence in the UK property development space. Our team actively participated in the Titans Event and TrustedLand gatherings, where industry leaders convened to share ideas and insights.

We are honoured to have our CEO Xuan as a speaker at the Titans Event. She shared her expertise on HMO planning and risk management—a testament to Cosy Hauz’s growing influence in this space.

We also reconnected with industry professionals like Adam Dainow of Caswell & Dainow to discuss planning strategies, Direct-to-Vendor sourcing, and scaling challenges. These discussions fuel our ambition to secure more development sites and take on larger, more complex projects throughout 2025.

As we continue expanding our portfolio, building better homes, and pushing boundaries, we remain committed to collaboration, learning, and excellence in everything we do.

At Cosy Hauz, we specialise in turning potential into value. If you’re seeking a property development partner focused on results and planning excellence, explore more about our work and services on our website and let’s connect.
