The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for SME Housebuilders has recently launched the ‘I am a Housebuilder’ campaign, focused on promoting and empowering women’s leadership in the housebuilding industry through key pledges. Among the leaders championing this initiative is our CEO, Xuan, who stands at the forefront of driving positive change in the sector.
The campaign’s core pledges include increasing the visibility of successful women in the sector to encourage more women to pursue roles, establishing a senior mentoring network to support women in reaching leadership positions, and collaborating with trade bodies to promote the sector to women across all career stages.
Xuan joins forces with other prominent female SME housebuilding founders and Managing Directors, known as the Magnificent Seven Housebuilders, in mentoring and empowering women to excel in the housebuilding industry. With over half of Cosy Hauz’s team comprising women, including many working mothers, Xuan’s involvement underscores her dedication to fostering diversity and inclusivity.
Together with industry leaders like Rosey Cassidy, Charlotte Edwards, Sarah Barraclough, Georgina Hammond, Alice Maughan, and Sophie Horgan, supported by APPG’s secretariat Edwin de Silva and Chair Andrew Lewer MBE, this campaign will extend throughout 2024, culminating in a networking event at parliament.
