As we cross the mid-point of the year, it has been quite inspiring and eventful for the Cosy Hauz team. We’ve been going around from keynote speaking engagements and collaborative learning experiences to meaningful site visits and high-impact networking events. We’re excited to share how we’ve been connecting, and elevating our presence in the UK property development industry.
UKREiiF 2025 and Guest Talk at Imperial College Business School
In May, our CEO Xuan Meng took part in UKREiiF 2025, the UK’s leading real estate investment and infrastructure forum. Held over three dynamic days, this flagship event gathered professionals from across the property, investment, and development sectors. As one of the event speakers, Xuan contributed insights from her experience leading a fast-growing property development company.
On the academic front, Xuan was also invited to Imperial College Business School as a guest speaker. She shared her entrepreneurial journey and practical advice on property development, planning, and project delivery with future business leaders. At Cosy Hauz, we believe in giving back by sharing our knowledge to inspire the next generation of developers.
Connecting Across Borders: The Developers Club Ireland Site Visits
In April, Xuan and our team member Jevy travelled to Ireland for The Developers Club Ireland Board Meeting. The event offered an open exchange of challenges and wins in the property development space, highlighting the shared experiences of developers across borders.
The visit included insightful site tours hosted by developers like Cathal O’Connor of Beldare Homes, showcasing large-scale residential projects and innovative build strategies. These experiences provided valuable lessons as we venture into similar scale of developments.
Touring Cosy Hauz Sites with Industry Leaders
We were delighted to welcome respected developers to tour our active sites in South West London. These property development site visits were a brilliant opportunity to share insights and explore best practices in sourcing, planning, and construction. We were also able to receive valuable feedback on our processes.

Learning, Collaborating, and Growing
May and June also brought a wealth of networking and learning opportunities for our team.
The Surrey Property Exchange and HMO Property Workshop by Omer Mehmet were an excellent forum to connect with industry professionals and local developers. Xuan was also a speaker at both events, where she discussed about HMO planning and risk management – a key expertise of ours.
We also had a brainstorming day with Edward Freeman and the Rare Origins team, where we exchanged strategies on AI-led workflow optimisation, planning, and operating models. These knowledge-sharing sessions aid us to better navigate the evolving property market. From tech tools to planning strategies, every encounter adds value to how we work at Cosy Hauz.
